Kérem vigyázzanak az ajtók záródnak! At the end of June 2022, after 5 years, I visited Budapest again. And of course, I just could not help but visit the local subway. I fell in love with the Budapest subway long time ago. Each line is interesting in its own way and it seems like to take you to different eras. The M1 line was the first in continental Europe, and its trains are more like trams. Line M2 with its charm from the 2000s. Line M3, which is made to the highest standards and is served by Russian trains. Line M4 with driverless trains and futuristic station looks from the mid-2010s.
