Salome Zourabichvili is a French-Georgian politician and former diplomat currently serving as the 5th President of Georgia, a position she has held since 2018. She is the first woman to occupy the role of head of state and was elected as an independent candidate. She is and advocate of further Georgian integration with NATO and the EU and has criticised Prime Minister Gharibashvilil for insufficient support in Ukraine.
