Introducing Plønk — the new duo of Christian Mohr Levisen (Denmark) and Björn Kaidel (Germany)! We fuse our passion for folk music, captivating melodies and intimate duo playing to breathe new life into the Waldzither — a traditional 9-stringed plucked instrument from Germany.

About the tune:
Folk festivals in summer are something really special. Seemingly endless nights filled with dancing and sessions until the early morning hours. Meeting friends, playing good tunes, simply enjoying life.

This tune was inspired by just such a festival: Klangrauschtreffen in Northern Germany. We would like to dedicate it to the whole Klangrauschtreffen team who make this great festival happen every year — thank you!
