This was our first time at any CO (clothing optional) resort let alone the Caliente Club & Resort! This is a quick look at their Casitas. OK soooo did I mention this was our first experience?!! actually, our first time anywhere like this and we were really not sure how it would go. Believe it or not, my wife gets anxious around crowds sometimes, worried about how she is seen, how she looks, etc., and well... We Loved it! NO JUDGE ZONE ALL WEEK! ;-) Located in Land O' Lakes Florida (I believe nudist capital of the world? Huh who knew!!). People there are polite and social but not "overly" friendly. Mostly couples, actually practically all couples I would say. We would say that it seemed to us the only time there were "singles" there was on Thursday, and possibly the weekend Friday/Saturday when the DJ/Bands were playing at the pool. Even then it seemed there were way more couples in all. The Rouge area of the resort was a couples-only area except on Thursday night as that was the only day single males were allowed in that area.
We stayed from June 22nd through June 27th, 2022. We may try for April or maybe May next time IDK. Hate to be in beautiful Florida when it's like super nice where you're coming from! Am I right?!?? Caliente is one of the Best Clothing Optional Resorts/Clubs. You better book in advance as it fills up quickly. We think it is one of the nicest Classic high-class clothing-optional resorts. A little more expensive than the places down the road but trust me it's worth it. If you want to feel like you're in a "RESORT" stay here. If you want to go cheap and sunbathe naked, then that's cool too and you could go down the road and check out the other properties. LOL!
The resort gave us 3 suggestions for drivers who could pick us up from the Tampa International airport (I'll add their info below). Call the Caliente Resort and make sure you ask the Caliente front desk/reservations peeps for their driver's suggestions to make sure they email them to you with your confirmation.
Using drivers from the resort is super handy for several reasons. 1. they live there and know the resort. 2. you can ask questions and they can honestly answer because they live there. 3. they are cheaper $$ than Uber and they have a pass to get in quick and easily. Our guy even let us pick up Bacardi/Pepsi and food at the local grocery down the road before we got there to semi-stock our frig for the week/weekend! Saves a lot of money that way too. The liquor store is to the right of the grocery store in the same plaza.

Here's a look at the Casita we stayed in when we vacationed at the Caliente Club and Resort in Land O' Lakes, Florida. We had a great time and really look forward to going back! The Casita is located in what's called the "Caliente Casita Village, Florida". You can actually buy these sometimes when one comes available. Hmmm... maybe another rental? One down the road from where we stayed sold for $135k like a year ago. Anyway hope you enjoy this look at our Casita and hope to see y'all there one day! oh did I mention "We love it and can't wait to go back!"
