Here’s how to do it step by step:

1. Click the three bars (menu icon) in the upper-right corner and go to Settings.
2. Under the General tab, scroll down to Language and Appearance.
3. Choose Light, Dark, or System Theme (Automatic) to match your device settings.

This will apply dark mode to the Firefox interface and some websites that respect browser-level themes (like ChatGPT).

For websites that require individual settings — like Google Search or Reddit — you’ll need to turn dark mode on or off directly from their own settings menus.

So in short:

Use Firefox settings to control overall browser theme.

Use individual website settings if the site doesn’t follow the browser.
