Yaesu FRG-7 Shortwave Radio Operation And Hands On Use

Описание к видео Yaesu FRG-7 Shortwave Radio Operation And Hands On Use

A look at a classic shortwave receiver from the 1970's and some basic hands on operation. This was and still is a very nice radio that can be a lot of fun to use. They were also known as a Frog 7 or Froggy 7. Sears also marketed these radios under their own label and with a black colored housing instead of the standard Yaesu gray color. I could never afford one back in the day but now I finally get to have some fun after all these years. It is a good idea to replace old electrolytic capacitors in radios of this vintage and older and this is what I did. Should be good to go for many more years now I hope. They were a very stable radio and the dial very accurate due to the Wadley tuning system used at the time.
