The intention was to join Mitch & Luke on the footplate of 'Willy' the 0-4-0 Kerr Stuart well tank loco working the 12.15 passenger service from Brownhills West.
This would not only be restrictive for the crew on this diminutive footplate but quite problematical for me to film while keeping out of the way.
A fortuitous change of plan put Willy on the short freight with a brake van either end...... problem solved!!
So technically this cannot be claimed to be a 'Footplate Video' but I think the results from the brake vans is the best that could be achieved so I hope you enjoy the ride into 2019.
