'American Idol' winner Jordin Sparks to sing national anthem ahead of 2024 Indy 500

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will perform the national anthem at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the start of the 2024 Indy 500. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter and actress, who previously sang the national anthem ahead of the 2015 Indy 500, will be part of pre-race ceremonies for the Indy 500. Sparks, who has won multiple awards, has previously sang the national anthem before the 2015 Indy 500. The 108th Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for May 26 and will air on WTHR Channel 13. Sparks has also won two BET Awards, one American Music Award, and one People's Choice Award.
