Sandwiching in History - Junction Bridge, Little Rock, Arkansas

Описание к видео Sandwiching in History - Junction Bridge, Little Rock, Arkansas

Our June Sandwiching in History tour features the Junction Bridge over the Arkansas River. Originally constructed in 1884, with later alterations, the Junction Bridge was operated by various railroads, most recently Union Pacific, to carry trains across the Arkansas River. In the early 2000s, the bridge was adapted into a bike and pedestrian bridge, connecting the historic Argenta neighborhood to downtown Little Rock. Join us for a Virtual Tour of this local landmark. #AuthenticArkansas #Arpreservation www.arkansaspreservation.com.
