There is an art to repairing and restoring Fender Rhodes pianos; all early ones are made of Hard Rock Maple actions. Over the years, changing the dimensions of the strike line and escapement often leaves extra holes in the wood action. These holes are not only unsightly but can cause interference with new positioning.
