Part of the Geelong City Deal, a partnership between the Australian Government, Victorian Government, and the City of Greater Geelong, Nyaal Banyul is one of the Deal’s centrepiece developments. It represents a major investment in tourism, infrastructure, jobs, and long-term growth for Greater Geelong.

Standing at the construction site, Luke tours the facilities (from the outside) and sits down with General Manager, Rick Aylett, to unpack what this project will mean for locals, businesses, and visitors.

Rick shares the vision behind Nyaal Banyul — a world-class venue that will attract conferences, events, exhibitions, and cultural gatherings, all while supporting local jobs and boosting the region’s visitor economy.

From its architectural presence to its community purpose, Nyaal Banyul is set to become a defining destination on the Geelong waterfront.
