Thomasin McKenzie on intimacy with Timothee Chalamet in Netflix's The King - LFF Premiere

Thomasin McKenzie is interviewed at the London Film Festival Premiere of her movie The King starring Timothee Chalamet as King Henry V. McKenzie also stars in Jojo Rabbit.

Timothée Chalamet, Robert Pattinson and Ben Mendelsohn lead an all-star cast in the new Netflix film, The King. Telling the story of King Henry V, the new film was co-written by Joel Edgerton and David Michôd for Michôd to direct. The cast includes Lily-Rose Depp, Sean Harris, Thomasin McKenzie, Tara Fitzgerald and Dean-Charles Chapman. The film premiered at the London Film Festival and Scott Davis and Colin Hart were on the red carpet for us.

Hal, wayward prince and heir to the English throne, is crowned King Henry V after his tyrannical father dies. Now the young king must navigate palace politics, the war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life.

Synopsis: Hal (Timothée Chalamet), wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. But when his tyrannical father dies, Hal is crowned King Henry V and is forced to embrace the life he had previously tried to escape. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life - including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the aging alcoholic knight, John Falstaff (Joel Edgerton).
