Super Typhoon Surigae/Bising is a currently active Super Typhoon in the West Pacific. It is the first typhoon, and first super typhoon of the 2021 Pacific typhoon season.

This video shows different views of the development of a new eye in Typhoon Surigae after completing an eyewall replacement cycle. An eyewall replacement cycle is a naturally occurring process in a tropical cyclone. As shown in this video, a outer eyewall forms and eventually replaces the inner eyewall as it is chocked of its needed energy by the outer eyewall.
