💲NOTE: I don't actually know what the 9 ft GraviTrax Notre Dame marble run cost to build, because Ravensburger provided both sets and bulk parts for the build. There is no straightforward way of estimating the cost of the actual pieces used in the build, so I settled on a $40,000 estimate based on the cost of obtaining every part used in the model by purchasing GraviTrax sets at retail prices. It would require many extra sets because the model uses large quantities of pieces that are available only in 1 or 2 per set (e.g. the build uses 80 PRO narrow walls, which only come 1 per set.) At current retail prices, it would cost ~$38,300 plus sales tax to purchase that many sets, with the total cost exceeding $41,000. But obtaining these pieces via set purchases would also result in lots of unused pieces, so not all $40,000 worth of pieces are used in the build.
