Maulana Tauqir Raza has been detained and arrested, with the police identifying him as the mastermind behind the riots that occurred after Friday namaz. So far, 11 FIRs have been filed and over 2,000 people have been booked in connection with the violence, which included clashes with police and vandalism of public property. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued clear instructions for stringent action against all those involved, stating they "will not be spared." Following this directive, police arrested Tauqir Raza along with six of his associates. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify all individuals who played a role in the disturbances.
