Tamluk alias Tamralipta in East Midnapore, was once a gateway and happening place nearly somewhat 3000 years back. Myth says it has a connection of the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The king of Tamralipta was Mayurdhwaj from his Mayurdhwaj dynasty and Tamralipta was named after the second king Tamradhwaj. The Jhulan Dalan i.e. Tamluk Rajbari covered in this vlog is the property of the famous Roy family who is believed to be the heir of the Tamraliptaraj. In historic and prehistoric era, this famous port was the main gateway of the east of India. Though only the legends are roaming around in the air of this city and all remains are submerged under the ruthless time.
