The available TrailCam System allows you to see an on-screen image of the terrain in front 2022 Jeep Gladiator. Have more confidence off-road, knowing you're seeing the whole picture.

If equipped, the TrailCam System allows you to see an on-screen image of the terrain in front of your vehicle.

[text on screen] Check entire surroundings when using this feature.

[voice over] To activate TrailCam, use one of the following methods:
Press the “FWD Camera” button on the controls screen.
Press the “FWD Camera” button in the app menu.
Press the “FWD Camera” button in the Off Road Pages menu.
Select “Auto Launch Off Road+” under “Camera Settings” and press the “Off Road+” button.
Press the “FWD Camera” button while in Backup Camera View.
Return to the backup camera by pressing the “Backup Camera View” button.

Whenever the TrailCam image is activated manually, and the vehicle speed is at or above 8 MPH or 13 km/h, a display timer is initiated.

The image will be displayed until the display timer exceeds 10 seconds.

When the vehicle is shifted out of Reverse, with Camera Delay turned off and TrailCam view active, TrailCam mode is exited and the previous screen appears again.

When the vehicle is shifted out of Reverse, with Camera Delay turned on and TrailCam View active, the TrailCam image will be displayed for up to 10 seconds or until:
vehicle speed is at or above 8 MPH or 13 km/h,
the transmission is shifted into Park,
the ignition is cycled to the Off position,
or TrailCam View is disabled by pressing the “X” button on touchscreen

Unless deactivated, the TrailCam image will be displayed continuously if:
the vehicle speed remains below 8 MPH or 13 km/h in 2-Wheel Drive and 4- Wheel Drive High modes,
the vehicle is in Four-Wheel Drive Low Range at any speed,
or the ignition is cycled to the Off position.

When the TrailCam image is displayed on the touchscreen, pressing the "Clean Camera" soft button, located on the TrailCam View screen, will clean the lense. The camera can be washed for up to 20 seconds at a time, but the "Clean Camera" system is not available if windshield washing is in progress.
