Pilot Mound and its surrounding area have always had a deep connection with hockey. In a conversation with Ginger Collins, we gain insight into the remarkable expansion of this fairly new venture. The construction of new buildings now accommodates and nurtures young hockey talents from across the globe.

Anchored by a massive 46,000 square foot building complex, which was relocated 800 miles from Sundance to Pilot Mound by dedicated community volunteers for an incredible $25,000. The volunteers not only moved the complex but also meticulously reassembled and transformed it into a multi-million dollar, world-class facility. This building serves as a hub for various activities, encompassing Hockey Ice, Curling Ice, a Museum, a fully licensed daycare, a 100-seat Movie Theatre, Baseball dugout training, and a complete concession and kitchen area.

Often referred to as the Heart of the Community, this establishment stands as a testament to the thousands of volunteer hours invested in its development.
