Can't go outside? Kids are bored? Homework to do? No problem. Complete them in intervals.

Try incorporating inside obstacle courses.

-Give them choices
-incorporate gross motor activities (big movements like running, jumping,etc.) (when we did it again we used a kangaroo ball)
-give verbal directions (kids with difficulty following directions may need you to physically guide them.)
-use standing as well as kneeling (if you can get them laying on their bellies that's great for building core and shoulder girdle)
-use chip clips for fine motor strengthening (small movements like cutting, drawing,etc.)
-dont hold onto the paper for them, let it slide all over (this incorporates bilateral coordination as well as problem solving skills)
-if you need you can use hand over hand technique to assist with tracing the letters or numbers. (If you want to throw sensory in use shaving cream or soap and trace the letters or numbers using their fingers or a Q-tip.)
-MAKE IT FUN!!!
