The Unused Earth Modes of The Fallen in Transformers 2. When it comes to Revenge of the Fallen its a very mixed bag. Some fans feel like it lived up to its hype while others felt like it was a major disappointment. There's also the treatment of the Fallen AKA Megatronus Prime. A character who despite having limited screentime had a lot of development in the tie-in material. For some reason the writers didn't feel the need to mention that he previously trapped in an interdimensional sarcophagus. Or how he managed to escape his prison. He's just there in the Nemesis ship. Another thing that was supposed to be implemented but cut at the last moment was his Earth based form. Paul Ozzimo and Josh Nizzi designed Earth modes for The Fallen to take on in Revenge of the Fallen, but like many of the Decepticons he does not assume one in the finished film. Ozzimo clarified on his website he was to turn into an Aurora stealth bomber.
