The Theseus paradox serves as the inspiration for the film's trifecta of stories, which are presented in quick succession. In the first, we follow a blind photographer. The second tale's hero is a (likely Jain) monk. In the last tale, a young guy's career depends on his getting to know a man named Yamamoto and keeping an eye on the ups and downs of stock prices on his laptop. All three of these people have either undergone or will undergo an organ transplant. The replacement of Aaliya's corneas allows the photographer to see for the first time. Being able to see clearly had the opposite effect of making her a better photographer; it has left her too overwhelmed to concentrate on a single thing. When the monk Maitreya learns he needs a liver transplant, he launches a ferocious crusade against the pharmaceutical industry's use of animals in testing. If he doesn't get a transplant, he'll die, but he'll have to start taking drugs from the very pharmaceutical corporations he's been attacking. After failing to schedule a meeting with Yamagoto, Navin discovers he may have received a kidney that was unlawfully obtained, leading him to investigate a possible organ trafficking ring.
