I am currently travelling from Calgary Alberta to Vancouver BC, stopping to film and take photos of many CP and CN trains along the way. Unfortunately I couldn't go to Jasper, so I spent a few more days than expected near the Laggan Sub.... Which wasn't really a bad thing.
CPKC Intermodal train 112 came to a stop at the West end of Banff waiting for a foreman to clear up ahead. Not long after the signal turned green, the engineer on 112 has it close to track speed again!
CPKC 112 was powered by CP 8791, SD70ACU 7052 up front, mid DPU UP 3068(!), and rear DPU KCS 4043, hauling over 150 wells of containers and a friendly engineer!
