LabelChip for Dymo 5XL, the solution to print cheap labels again

LabelChip for Dymo 5XL and Dymo 550 + 550 Turbo.

Since the introduction of the new generation labelprinters of Dymo labelprinters only original labels are compatible. 3rd party labels cannot be used anymore due to the application of a small chip on the label roll which is read by the labelwriter. The LabelChip is a smart chip which replaces this process. The original label roll reader will be replaced by the LabelChip and makes possible that 3rd party labels can be used again.

Please mind, the solution is currently only working for Dymo printers bought before 1st March 2024.
For the new labelwriters Dymo introduced some changes, we are working on a solution. Please check the serial number of your LabelWriter

If it starts with QE2xx ; QF2xx; QG1xx the LabelChip should work. Higher numbers/letter is uncertain, Lower numbers + Letters is Ok.
