Miguel from USA, one of my youtube followers emailed me to give a suggestion or idea on how to deal with convex and concave pieces while sewing.
As a matter of fact, it is not an easy task for people who does not have much expertise.
This basic video shows two ways of attaching the pieces together by sewing.
In the first way, I use little cuts to evenly help fold the edges. It can be used when we do simple or flat covers. The second way consists in sewing the lateral panel to the main plate and is used when we do foamed or heavy projects.
I used a small piece to do the demonstration that would make us understand what about. To sew bigger projects would be easier to handle.
Very soon we will be performing real size upholstery projects (car seats, motorcycles, door cards, carpets, headliners, bags, etc.)
