Cleveland area weather forecast: Warmer temperatures will return soon

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 29, 2024: An upper level low sweeping through the Ohio Valley is departing, and a big area of high pressure is pushing in cooler and drier air for the next few days.

Dew point temperatures (a measure of humidity in the air) will be dropping.

And drier air will help us cool down tonight. Many of us will start the early morning on Thursday in the 40s.

Then the sunshine will do its thing.

Rain chances won't return until late Saturday evening. That rain will be riding in with a storm system that won't only bring us rain - it will signal a change back to toasty temperatures.
