The Third Group: These people engage in religious actions with the intention of benefiting from this world. They perform acts of devotion to gain worldly rewards but neglect to pursue the spiritual benefits of the afterlife. Their piety is only a façade to achieve personal gain.
The Fourth Group: This group consists of people who, due to their lack of strength, resources, or opportunity, are prevented from seeking power or wealth. They claim contentment and adopt the robes of asceticism, but their lifestyle is more about external appearance than true renunciation.
The Fifth Group: These are the few who are truly aware of the impending Judgment Day and live in constant fear and humility. They are oppressed, disgraced, and have suffered persecution, but they remain faithful and devoted, even in the face of great trials. They are the true ascetics, whose hearts are broken by the fear of God.
The sermon concludes with a powerful reminder to view the world as insignificant, to learn from the past, and to reject the allure of worldly possessions and status. The speaker urges to live with awareness of the temporal nature of this life and its ultimate futility, likening it to something far less valuable than even the least significant material objects.
