How To Change Set Custom DNS Settings Huawei Router, Modem, Wingle

If you are a Huawei device user, you can set custom DNS settings from the Huawei admin dashboard. The new version of the Huawei admin panel does not display the custom DNS settings tab by default. So, you need to browser console to make the settings appear. So, If you are a Huawei Wingle/ Modem/ Router user, you may find it is difficult to find the correct settings. Therefore, I have created this simple tutorial to show you how to change or set custom DNS settings to your Huawei network device from the new version admin dashboard.

Follow these following steps to set custom DNS settings manually:

1. Login to your admin dashboard.
2. Go to the Advanced settings as shown in the video.
3. Select the DHCP settings from the dashboard settings. (Located in the left menu)
4. Then open your browser console. (Press F12)
5. Type this command $('#dhcp_dns').show(); , Then hit Enter.
6. Set custom DNS settings.
7. Select Save to save your Custom DNS settings for Huawei Modem/ Router/ Wingle.
