I will be using this high temperature primer, and paint on my engine, turbo, and exhaust pipes.
Now to get the best results from this enamel paint, you need to bake it after it's dry. So if you got a small part that will fit in the shop oven you can do the following in the oven.
1st Bake at 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
Bake it again at 400°F (204°C) for another 30 minutes and allow it to cool down for 30 minutes.
To finish it up Bake at 600°F (315°C) for 30 minutes and then allow the part to cool 30 minutes before taking it out.
Just a few things to mention you don't want to do this in the house. Items may emit smoke and odors at first that you probably don't want in the house.
You do have another option, baking the parts on the vehicle.
This is what I'm going to do, run the vehicle at idle for 10 minutes and then allow it to sit 20 minutes to cool.
Then I will restart the vehicle, let it idle for 20 minutes, then shut it off and let it cool for 20 minutes.
The last step is to run your vehicle in normal operating conditions for 30 minutes, then allow the vehicle to cool.
The Benefits of ceramic coating provides added durability and is Gas & Oil Resistant, just the right qualities I'm looking for underneath the hood.
