Schmincke Horadam Aquarell 48 Pan Watercolor Review

Schmincke is one of my favorite watercolors so this review shouldn't be a surprise but I do hope it helps you if you're trying to decide if you want to get this. If you have any questions about these paints, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I really love this brand that I don't mind actively promoting them to anyone who wants to get into watercolor however, while these brands are great as a set, it doesn't mean that there aren't better individual colors out there.

I wasn't able to add this point in the video, but if you're reading the description, just a tip is, if you're going to try to create a palette, don't hesitate to try different paints from different brands. For example, my favorite opera would be from Daniel Smith, and my favorite pinkish tone is from Winsor and Newton. QoR is my go to when I want loose paintings, and when I want opaque watercolors, I go for either Kuretake or Sakura Koi. If I want inexpensive but still artist quality paints, I go for Paul Rubens. But when it comes to transparent watercolors, Schmincke is my number 1.

For these paintings I used Arches 300 gsm coldpress watercolor paper and a pentalic watercolor paper.
