Putong Bigas Recipe Ingredients:
500g rice flour
2cups coconut milk (1 big coconut)
1 cup white sugar
1/2tsp salt
1tbsp baking powder
1tbsp yeast
2 1/2 cups water

Putong Bigas Recipe Procedures:
In a pan, cook 50g rice flour with 2 cups water.
Gradually add the 2 cups water and keep stirring until it's sticky.
Then, transfer it into a bowl and let it cool down.
In a bowl, prepare 450g rice flour.
Then add 1 cup white sugar and 1/2tsp salt.
Mix well.
Gradually add 2 cups coconut milk and mix well.
Gradually add the cooked rice flour into the mixture and mix well.
Then add 1/2 cup water and mix again until the mixture becomes smooth.
Then add 1tbsp baking powder and 1tbsp yeast. Mix.
Cover and let it rest for 1hour.
After 1 hour, the mixture is ready.
Mix again to remove the air bubbles.
Transfer the mixture into a dispenser.
Then distribute the mixture into the prepared puto molder.
Steam in a preheated steamer for 10mins.
After 10mins, remove the puto from the steamer and let it cool down a bit.
Remove the puto from the molder and put them in a serving plate.
For this recipe, I made 36pcs puto using medium size puto molder.
