Join me on my very first mission to Mars in the pre-alpha build of Kitten Space Agency! 🚀🐱

We're checking out Build 2181 and attempting the ambitious journey to the Red Planet. The plan is simple: plan a transfer, execute the burn, capture into a stable orbit, and then make a historic landing.

The trip there goes surprisingly smoothly! We nail the transfer burn, admire the views of Mars and its tiny moons from orbit, and witness a stunning Martian sunrise. ☀️ The planet shine effect on the rocket is just... chef's kiss. 👌

But this is a pre-alpha game, and the landing... oh, the landing. 😂 Things get a little... glitchy. With wonky retrograde controls sending us sideways, a camera with a mind of its own, and a landing that phases us through the very fabric of reality, it's a textbook example of a "successful failure"!

Did we land safely? Absolutely not. Did we make it to Mars? You bet! I'm calling that a partial success. 😉
