We caught up with the emeritus Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, who is enjoying her retirement after ten years of public service.

During her tenure, she had the honor of delivering the oath of office to two presidents, in 2017 and 2022, as well as managing two internal leadership transitions: the first, when CJ Emeritus Dr Willy Mutunga left office, and the second, when CJ Emeritus David Maraga retired.

She left behind the most gender balanced branch or agency of government, with women accounting for 51% of the overall workforce.
