The Apeks DST first stage is a high performance balanced diaphragm design with swivelling low pressure turret and environmental seal.

Four low pressure ports can be found on the swivelling turret that offers optimal hose routing and configuration. Two high pressure ports can be found on the main body of the first stage.

An environmental seal gives extra cold water protection by preventing water interacting directly with critical parts inside that could lead to ice crystals forming in extreme cold conditions. The seal also protects the soft material parts such as the diaphragm and o-rings from contamination damage from oils or fuels.
