We're out of the Electrifying studio and back on the road with Nicki Shields and an in-depth road test of the tax efficient 2020 BMW 45e xDrive plug-in hybrid.

BMW was a trailblazer with its electric cars. The i3 and the i8 were amazing-looking and really clever. And then it all went a bit...quiet. But now BMW is back… with a range of hybrids, called iPerformance, which includes a version of the X5 that can work wonders when it comes to reducing your tax bill.

Nicki Shields finds out if you will love the X5 as much as your accountant.
