In 2012 after being operated at the museum for 3 years with a basic canvas projection screen, the Brooklands Concorde Simulator's original visual system of collimated mirror and back projection screen were donated to the museum so they could be re-united with the sim. Ahead of this, the mirror and screen were jury rigged with a mock-up Concorde cockpit (using actual Concorde cockpit window frames!) to give it a test and see how things might look ahead of the mirror and screen being refitted to the simulator properly in the summer of 2013.
