This bedtime story is the sixth in the '12-days of Christmas sleep stories', related to 'six geese a-laying'. This bedtime story for grown-ups is about an owl who flies through a forest when they notice something happening. They encounter some animals and then see six geese. Watching with intrigue, animals start appearing where the geese are. The geese lay their eggs. One of the animals explains about this being an important ritual within the forest, to see the continuation of life when these geese lay their eggs. At the end of the experience, the Owl heads back to their perch and falls asleep into Slumberland.
