Making a Historical Chinese (Tang Dynasty) Dress! | Qixiong Ruqun (齊胸襦裙)

Hi, my name's Rachel, and I'm a classical singer/former Irish dancer with an interest in languages (I'm studying Mandarin Chinese), history and world cultures, and this is my making of process for my hanfu! I love history so fucking much and a subset of that love is dress history. I'm looking forward to continuing learning as much as I can about what humans wore in the past, but I'm so happy that I was able to make this! When I first had the idea, it seemed pretty daunting tbh. Now, that I've finished though, I might try something more complicated like an Italian 15th century type dress!
