Sovereign Citizen Tells Ohio Trooper He Is “Traveling” | Flees & Gets PITed Into A Guard Rail

Just after 4PM on 09/02/2024, an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet passenger car for failing to signal. When the Trooper asked the driver, Edwin Prude, for his license, Edwin told him he was not driving. Edwin told the Trooper he was "traveling" and the Trooper told him he would be arrested if he failed to provide identification. When the Trooper opened Edwin's door, he put the vehicle in drive and fled south on US Highway 823. The Trooper pursued Edwin at high speeds for several miles until he was able conduct a PIT maneuver on Edwin's vehicle on the entrance ramp to state route 52 from Galli Pike. Edwin was taken into custody and after searching his vehicle, a loaded firearm was found inside. Edwin was charged with failure to comply and possession of a firearm while under a disability.
