Adina Sella was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1935. Adina was able to flee Nazi-occupied Germany to Italy with her mother and brother, where they posed as Catholics. When the Nazis invaded Italy, Adina and her family were rescued by an Italian resistance group, who hid them until British armed forces liberated Italy in 1944.

In her testimony, Adina discusses what happens to a person after experiencing trauma, and how to live with post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
