J&K News: Bus Carrying CRPF Jawans Falls Into Gorge, 3 Killed, Several Injured in Udhampur

J&K Tragedy: CRPF bus falls into gorge, 3 Jawans killed, 12 injured. The bus fell into a gorge near Kandva in the Basantgarh area of J&K's Udhampur district on Thursday. Three CRPF jawans were killed in the accident, while 12 others sustained injuries. Police team reached the spot promptly and launched a rescue operation. The injured personnel were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Union minister Jitendra Singh expressed concern over the incident, calling it “disturbing” in a post on X. He confirmed that the Deputy Commissioner, Saloni Rai, is personally monitoring the situation.
Singh noted that rescue efforts were initiated immediately and local residents also joined in to help. Authorities have assured all necessary assistance, and further updates are awaited.
