10 of My Favorite Short Sci-fi & Fantasy Books! (Standalone or First Book of a Series)

Hi everyone! The fantasy and sci-fi genres are often intimidating because of how big the books in the genre are. And sometimes, shorter books are unsatisfying or immediately deemed inferior. But that is not a universal truth. There are many incredible shorter books in SFF. Today's video will be a short SFF books recommendation video. Let me know what's your favorite short SFF books! They can either be novels or novellas! Also, there are three rules applied to this list:

Rules:
1. Only the first book of a series or standalone.
2. Each book mentioned will be under 400 pages or 140,000 words.
3. All of them are on my list of favorite books. The list is unranked.
