TERRORISTS NEUTRALIZED IN INTENSE OPERATIONS DURING AN ENCOUNTER IN SRINAGAR AND ANANTNAG DISTRICTS OF J&K

Security forces conducted major anti-terror operations in Srinagar and Anantnag districts today, targeting Lashkar-e-Toiba militants. As per reports in Srinagar’s Khanyar area, a gun battle broke out after reports of militants hiding in the congested locality, resulting in the elimination of one terrorist, while four security personnel were injured.
Simultaneously, in Anantnag’s Halkan Gali forests, a joint operation by the Indian Army, J&K Police, and CRPF led to the killing of two non-local terrorists. These actions underscore the ongoing efforts to counter terrorism in the region. (IADN-Centre)
