1962 Eskişehir doğumlu. ODTÜ Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümü 1985 mezunu. Aile şirketinde bir yıl çalıştıktan sonra Milli Savunma Bakanlığı’nda askerliğini tamamladı. İpek Kağıt (1987-1991) ve Colgate-Palmolive şirketlerinde (1991-1997) pazarlama yöneticiliği yaptı. 1997 yılından beri serbest çalışıyor. Türkiye’nin ilk marka danışmanı. Marka ve pazarlama konuşmaları yapıyor, eğitimler veriyor. Yedi kitabı yayınlandı. En bilineni “Bu topraklardan dünya markası çıkar mı?”. Markam AŞ’nin kurucusu. www.markam.com.tr. He was born in Eskişehir in 1962. He graduated from Middle East Technical University (Turkey), Department of Industrial Engineering in 1985. . He worked in their family business for one year. After completing the military service, his professional life started as a Product Development Engineer at İpek Tissue Paper Factory. In 1991 he moved to Colgate-Palmolive where he worked for six years, in positions from Brand Manager to Marketing Manager. Güven Borça has been working as Brand Consultant since January 1997. He is the first Brand Consultant of Turkey. He did various training programs within the region. He published articles on branding. He is the founder and manager of Markam Brand Consultancy. (www.markam.com.tr ) Güven Borça published seven books. The most known is titled “Can a Global Brand Bloom from These Lands?” He is married with two children.
