Welcome to the first part of my Pokemon Omega Ruby walkthrough. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire just released on the Nintendo 3DS and I'm really excited to be playing them. These new games are remakes of the third generation games which released on the Gameboy Advanced. I'm looking forward to exploring the Hoenn region once more and catching up with the game that a lot of my childhood was spent on. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire also refresh the old legendaries featured in the original games, these are called Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre which I hope to show you within this playthrough. The mega-evolutions should also be fun to explore together, with that being said I hope you enjoy the gameplay walkthrough.

In this episode we meet Professor Birch the Pokemon professor of the Hoenn region. I remember the original scene quite a bit from my original childhood so seeing it redone in a great new graphical style was amazing. We're given a choice of one Pokemon to begin our journey which consists of Treecko, Mudkip and Torchic. A little unknown fact is that my YouTube name is actually derived from the nickname of my Torchic in the original Pokemon Ruby. We then set off to help Wally catch his first ever pokemon.
