The bedding turns to castings so quickly in this bin. Today after fluffing the bin I added a large amount of castings into the bin for the worms. There was a small amount of scraps left from the last feeding. This was just placed back into the feeding zone with the new food scraps. Today's feeding was a small frozen tomato with some larger pieces of food scraps like celery and lime ends, and a large feeding of the pulp from the juicer. To the feeding area and the new bedding I sprinkled ground eggshells and pulverized azomite for the worms to use as grit.
