The L322 2011 Land Rover Range Rover was (and still is) my absolute dream car! I love the way the Range Rover HSE LUX drives, and the road presence of this generation Land Rover Range Rover is untouched by the competition. Modern day SUVs are still trying to catch up to the Range Rover L322. Unfortunately, though, the cost to own a Range Rover is not cheap at all!

I've created this video to share with you how much it costs to own a Range Rover for one year. Of course, this Range Rover was used when I purchased it in October 2016, but the cost of owning a Range Rover over the years from year 1 to 10 is near the same. Land Rovers have never been known to be the most reliable SUVs on the market, but the L322 Range Rover is truly something special.

The cost of my Range Rover when I purchased it in October 2016 was $23,980, and my monthly payment for the Land Rover Range Rover L322 is $380. Along with that, another huge expense with the Range Rover is the insurance. To have full coverage insurance on my Range Rover, I pay around $200/month.

Petrol costs for the Range Rover are not cheap either. Each month, I spend about $200 on filling the car up, which isn't too bad considering the L322 2011 Range Rover has a 28 gallon fuel tank and averages around 17.9 MPG each tank. My average fill up from empty is around $68.

In the past year of owning my 2011 Range Rover, I've spent roughly $5,600 on maintenance and repairs. This consisted of replacing the spark plugs for $500, and I also had to replace the fuel injectors for $2,600. Along with that, I had to replace the front lower control arms on the Range Rover for $800. The remaining part of the $5,600 were normal parts of maintaining the Range Rover.
