Application demonstration of Sentinel IO-Link adaptive device and scalable adaptive device

This video introduces two new IO-Link slave products from Tianjin Sentinel Electronics. One is an input and output adaptive device, and the other has expandable functions and supports input and output adaptation.
In the demonstration, an IO-Link master with Ethernet/IP protocol was used to show how to configure and debug it through CODESYS software. First, the working principle of the input and output adaptive device (SIOL-M12A-16SAP) was introduced. Through CODESYS, the process data interaction between the IO-Link master and the device was demonstrated, including how to configure and monitor the input and output status through data bytes. The adaptive device supports dynamic adjustment of input and output ports. Whether it is connected to a relay or a proximity switch, it can automatically identify and configure the port to achieve flexible hardware interface use.
Then, the features of the expandable device (SIOL-M12A-16SAP/EX) are introduced. This slave adds an expansion interface on the basis of input and output adaptation to support additional IO-Link device connections. The video shows how to configure the expansion device, demonstrates the allocation and status monitoring of input and output data, and how to perform additional input and output operations through the expansion interface.
With these two devices, users can flexibly expand IO-Link devices to meet complex industrial automation needs.
