Potato smiley as name suggests is made from potatoes. These are smiley shaped snack deep fried or shallow fried. In this recipe you will learn to make perfect cafe style potato smiley. You kids will definitely love it. It tastes just awesome and is pretty easy to make. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 4 medium size boiled Potatoes
• 1/2~1 cup Pohe / Flattened rice
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

Method:
• Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them. Do not overcook the potatoes.
• Blend pohe into fine powder.
• Add turmeric powder, salt and poha powder into grated potatoes and knead the mixture into
dough.
• You can add more poha powder as needed.
• Take small portion from the dough on a butter paper and cover it with another butter paper.
• You can use plastic paper in place of butter paper.
• Roll the dough into about 1 cm thick disc.
• Take small lid of any bottle and make small discs with it.
• Make eyes with the help of straw and a smile with the help of spoon on each smiley.
• Heat up oil in a pan on medium heat and drop smileys in hot oil.
• Fry smileys on low to medium heat well until it gets nice golden color from both sides.
• Take the smileys out, drain excess oil and transfer into a dish.
• Potato smileys are all ready.
• You can have these with sauce.
• You can make around 40 smileys from 4 medium size potatoes.
