Trunk Won't Open? Fix it for Free! | 2008 Infiniti FX35

This is a follow up to my previous video about what to do when the trunk won't open on a 2008 Infiniti FX35. In this video, I go back over the previous method and I also go into greater detail on what else you can do to get this working without replacing the part. The latch motor assembly can be taken out, cleaned, and reinstalled using some inexpensive tools (linked below) and this will most likely fix the issue. You can also manually open the trunk by attaching a rope to the latch handle and pulling from the back. Hey, whatever saves $400, am I right?
