Dr. Aldrin made a visit to Rapid City, SD last week for a speaking engagement at the Rushmore Mall. I was in the fortunate position of helping set up coverage for the event through the local news station that I work for. I met Buzz personally, shook his hand, and captured this video of his discussion about space, the moon landing and many other things.

He was everything you'd expect a space cowboy rockstar to be.

Dr. Aldrin's words about "innovation" rang particularly true to me, especially in the context of this brave new technology that we are all doing our part to help shape. "Look for new ways of doing things!" It's such a powerful and simple mantra that I find myself experiencing each day when I visit the virtual reality community. And I'm very glad to be a part of it.

I hope you all enjoy this take on what is arguably one of the best DK2 demos out there.
